Project Overview
The Ford Community & Performing Arts Center is a multi-faceted, multi-facility network of leisure, fitness, life enrichment, and cultural arts activities. The swimming pool is one of the main attractions of the facility, offering a safe and enjoyable environment for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. At the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, RecTrac software allows members to check themselves into the facility. Unfortunately, some guests sneak in and cause disturbances such as fights and reckless behavior in the pool. Additionally, it is difficult to identify guests in the pool area, which becomes a critical concern if there is a medical emergency. The facility is in the process of redesigning the check-in system for membeMy involvements in this projects include conducting extensive market research to understand the existing design and future software that the center is going to use , conducting semi-structured interviews with target users to study what they really need.
My design pitched the final design proposal to the client, and received positive feedback on adopting our design recommendations.
